Harold Engles City Park gets it name from a legendary local figure and pioneer Harold Engels, who served many years as District Ranger for the Darrington Ranger District, and was very instrumental in the construction of the precarious Three Fingers Lookout.  He was also very involved with his community and championed getting the first bridge installed to the Sauk Prairie.

The park is located just off SR 530 and Railroad Avenue.  Here you will find a soothing grove of trees offering shade, a picnic table, two horse shoe pits, and a Frisbee golf course.
