Enjoy the day with like minded people all the while with the beautiful backdrop of Whitehorse Mountain. Signups at 9 am\, Events starts at 10 am\, at the Darrington Rodeo Grounds.  Be sure to signup for the free saddle raffle each play day\, raffle is drawn at the end of the season.  Champion buckles will also be awarded to all over winning of each age group.  $5 charge per event\, $3 charge for training per event\, arena fee $5 per day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This is Darrington’s longest continually running art show\, extant! Featured are the unique and eclectic works of local artists Holly Cannell\, Gordy Beil & Ron Wolff. \nArtist Holly Cannell:  “I create bright abstract art using a variety of materials including paint\, paper\, and found objects. Color and texture are important to me and this comes through in my artwork. I want to express joy and share that with the viewer. Forms drawn from the natural world frequently appear in my work\, a jagged line that imitates the edge of a leaf for example. I love the beautiful trees\, streams\, and mountains visible in Darrington. Living here is heaven for me.” \nArtist Ron Wolff:  “My abstract works are never done. These colorful excursions on paper never reach completion. This presentation of my art\, at the Hoobajoob\, marks a present state of being and not a land fall. My art is created with oil pastel\, charcoal\, colored pencil and dry pastel.” \nArtist Goedy Beil:   “My work encompasses a broad variety of media: mono-print\, block printing\, solvent transfers\, intaglio engraving\, collage\, painting in acrylic\, found object constructions\, photography (B&W and color) and manipulated Polaroid photography.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
