Whitewater and Paddling

One way to see our beautiful scenery is by river.  See the mountains and remote lands as only you can see them by the river.  Springtime through mid summer while snow-melt is plentiful, the rivers run high with whitewater, as snow-melt begins to dwindle, the rivers lower in volume and slow down making it time for relaxing float trips.

Scenic Forest Road Drives

Darrington, Washington has some of the most breathtaking views only a drive away to mountain vistas, waterfalls, wildflowers and deep into forest lands.  People of all abilities can enjoy nature on a forest road drive.  A forest road is a remote usually gravel road many times slowing you down with potholes.  Please drive slow on these roads, it is good for the road, good for your vehicle.  Why hurry anyway?  Just take your time and enjoy the views…
