DNR issues burn ban for Washington State

Temporary Recreation use changes for Washington State Lands

Planning a camping trip?  You'll need to plan some alternatives to enjoying a campfire.  Because of the onset of hot, dry weather across the state, DNR today issued a state wide burn ban for state forest, state parks and DNR forest lands.  This burn ban is in effect through Sep 30th, prohibits all burning including campfires and charcoal briquettes.  Liquid gas or propane stoves that do not use solid briquettes and have an on & off switch are permitted.  Learn more...
