It all starts with the parade, the the Mansford Grange Community Fair
and the grand finale, the fireworks display!

The best big-little parade around starts at noon! Just a simple good time in Darrington where old fashion fun is alive and well! Lineup for the parade is at 11 am. The Darrington 4th of July Parade starts at noon with our local heroes the firemen in their freshly washed and shiny trucks.   Smokey the Bear will go by in his big green Forest Service truck waving at the kids.

There are beautiful horses and riders in the parade, classic cars and several other fun things to see.  We're one of the few 4th of July Parades where you might see an actual working mule packtrain!  Watch for some of our lovely Darrington Damsels!

After the Parade the
Mansford Grange Community Fair starts up at Old School Park.  Good old fashion games like Tug of War, Water Balloon Toss and the ever favorite Racing Turtles Game will be at the fair.  What is a racing turtle?  Come to the fair and see how much fun can be had with a wooden cutout and some string!  Our volunteer fire department keeps the kids of all ages cool with their fire hose.  Great fun is had by all!
