A Pass To Monte Cristo

Barlow Pass is just west of Monte Cristo on the divide between the Sauk and South Fork Stillaguamish Rivers.  In 1891 Fred Anderson and F.M. Headlee discovered the pass while prospecting up on the Sauk River.  It will later become the new route west to the city of Everett and was surveyed by John Quincey Barlow which the pass was named after.
