Gee Point

Gee Point Fire Lookout was built in 1930 as a small shake cabin.  Later in 1934 a  L-6 cab was added to the site.  This was located about 14 miles northwest of Darrington, in the area north of Segelsen Ridge.  The lookout was at an elevation of 4,974 feet.  This lookout was abandoned in 1964.  There use to be a road almost connecting with Gee Point Lookout, it has been decommissioned about. .25 mile before you would have reached the end.  There is 3.75 miles of primitive unmaintained trail starting at this point to the old lookout site.
