If you are a fan of outdoor author Patrick Mcmanus or have never heard of him, you will enjoy a night of rip roaring laughter as Tim Behrens brings to life many of the characters and incidents brought forth in Mcmanus's books.  On September 22nd, 2012 at 7:30 pm the Darrington IGA and The Darrington Community Center are bringing Tim Brehrens to the Darrington School Auditorium for a one night only fundraiser for the Darrington Community Center.  Tim is famous for his one man performances of Mcmanus stories.  You will laugh till you cry or pee your pants!








Patrick F. McManus, recognized as one of America’s funniest humor writers from his columns in Field and Stream and Outdoor Life, and his many books about growing up in rural Idaho. Pat used his own fear of the dark as a central theme to weave some of his favorite pieces together.  Now you can see the magic of Tim Behrens reenactment of these stories on stage!

A Fine And Pleasant Misery

The two-act play begins as Pat rummages through an old trunk. Each discovery -- a piece of tent, the slingshot “Whomper,” his collection of dried road kill, a cracked brace from his sled, “Rosebud” -- triggers recollections of a childhood incident.
